Ba Be National Park and Lake is the largest natural freshwater lake in Vietnam with exceptional fish diversity, a population of langurs, over 200 bird and 350 butterfly species, geological treasures and mature primary limestone forest. Ban Gioc Waterfall, in Cao Bang province and located on the border of Vietnam – China, is the most beautiful waterfall of Vietnam (personally). It will be very big omission if you visited many sites in Vietnam but haven’t visited this famous landscape. Standing under the foot of waterfall, you will feel the relaxed and pleasant atmosphere made by water fog flying up. Seen from a distance, you can see the grandeur and charming of Ban Gioc waterfall.

 

08.00: Pick up from your hotel, travel north along Hightway 3 to Thai Nguyen , have a visit here is the Museum of the Cultures of Viet Nam Ethnic Groups.

15.30: Arrive Ba Be National Park. After checking into ‘homestay’ in Pac Ngoi village, we will have free time to walk around this village of the Tay people.  Overnight at house on stilt

08.00 After breakfast, we will spend the morning visiting the beauty of Ba be lakes on the local motor boat, glide along the river and through the pretty cave, the tranquil Ba Be lakes for its majesty.

13.00 After lunch, say goodbye with our host and leave our homestay to drive towards Cao Bang. Here the ethnic people of H’Mong, Dzao, Tho and Nung live together in harmony. We will arrive in Cao Bang town at about 17.00. Check in your hotel, free walking around the town. Overnight at hotel in Cao Bang City

07:30: Car ride to Ban Gioc, visit the waterfall. On this day you΄ll take a scenic in insightful day trip north of Cao Bang to the beautiful Ban Gioc waterfall on the Chinese border. This picturesque, cascading waterfall is 53 meters high and has an impressive span of 300 meters. The drive there offers unique landscapes, limestone karst formations soar from the verdant rice paddies of the surrounding farms of local ethnic minorities. Along the way, you΄ll see Tay, Hmong and Dzao ethnic minority groups.

12.00 Have lunch in restaurant nearby Ban Gioc water fall, heading back to Cao Bang, on the way, we come to visit the expansive 2,144 meter Nguom Ngao Cave to discover its brilliant stalactites.

17.30 Return to Cao Bang and overnight in Hotel in Cao Bang City

08.00 After having breakfast, check out your hotel, our car brings you back to Hanoi. Have lunch on the way back. You will arrive Hanoi at 17.00. Trip ends.
